Hi, I'm Sage -
it's nice to meet you!

I am a sex & relationship nerd, mentor, coach, healer, multidisciplinary artist, event organizer, self-described weirdo, and science-loving spiritual being who is passionate about helping intellectually-minded folks feel more present, joyful, and at ease in their bodies.  I pride myself on creating space for both the intellectual & the somatic, firmly believing that there is plenty of space for the two to co-exist.

I began my career in the environmental justice non-profit sector, working as a consultant for a state agency where I facilitated an intersectoral regional climate collaborative in rural California and launched a statewide racial equity-focused grant writing initiative. I then managed a fellowship program, supervising 15-20 young professionals annually as they undertook specialized projects to establish their climate careers. This work helped me realize my true passion: supporting individuals 1:1 in working towards their personal goals with a trauma-informed, interdisciplinary, and somatic approach.

When I first learned about sex in late elementary school, I immediately checked out a stack of human sexuality textbooks from the library and became my class's go-to educator for all things sex and relationships. Many years later, following a
global pandemic, the end of a six year relationship, the death of my father, and many long days and nights of soul searching, I gave myself permission to follow my heart and return to this role - quitting my salaried office job to return to school so that I could launch my own private practice as a therapeutic touch & relationship practitioner. I'm grateful every day that I get to do something I truly love - creating space for others to tap into their most authentic & embodied erotic selves.

In addition to formal education in the modalities of Surrogate Partner Therapy, Somatic Sex Education, and Sexological Bodywork, I am informed by my personal journey though trauma and healing. My practice is supported by my personal studies of psychology, attachment theory, tantra, kink, yoga, somatic experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), sacred plant medicine, and ecstatic dance.
